I was born in 1975, and in 1998, I successfully completed my studies at the Faculty of Medicine in Gazi University.
In 1998, my journey into specialization began at the Department of Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery in Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. I completed my specialization in Plastic Surgery in 2004, and subsequently, I had the opportunity to work as a Research Fellow at the Plastic Surgery/Microsurgery Department of the Cleveland Clinic Foundation in the USA. This enriching experience lasted for a period of 1 year and 3 months between 2004 and 2005. During my time there, I conducted extensive research and published numerous original articles. Notably, I was involved in pioneering in vivo applications of bony face transplants, upper jaw and tooth transplants with the preservation of nutrition. Additionally, aside from my work in face transplantation, I gained valuable expertise in microcirculation, tissue freezing techniques, and experimental surgery involving nerves.
In 2012, I successfully completed the two-step exam and obtained the EBOPRAS (European Board of Plastic Surgery Certificate) certification. I have also filed two patent applications in my field of expertise. From 2013 to 2016, I served as an Associate Professor of Plastic Surgery at Istanbul Bilim University-Şişli Florence Nightingale Hospital. During this period, I had the opportunity to share my knowledge and contribute to the field. Additionally, I am proficient in both spoken and written English, possessing fluent and advanced language skills.
