Experience
Throughout his career, Dr. Otrakçı has been actively involved in academic and research activities. He has co-authored and translated several publications, presented posters at national plastic surgery congresses, and participated in numerous academic activities and workshops both domestically and internationally. He has also contributed to a chapter on local flaps in the book on Ear, Nose, and Throat Diseases and Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Otrakçı continues to stay updated on the latest developments in plastic surgery by attending conferences and workshops regularly.
Education & Training
Dr. Volkan Otrakçı is a plastic surgeon who has received his education and training in several institutions in Turkey and the United States. He completed his medical education at Hacettepe University in Ankara, Turkey and completed his residency in Plastic, Reconstructive, and Aesthetic Surgery at Ankara University. He then went on to participate in an observer program at the UT Southwestern Medical Center, Department of Plastic Surgery in Dallas, Texas.
