About Us
Assoc. Prof. Emel Canbay earned her MD from Sivas Cumhuriyet Univ. in ’88, and PhD in Molecular Oncology from King’s College School of Medicine in ’96. She specialized in General Surgery in Ankara and trained in Breast/GI Surgery at Istanbul Univ. She passed the Ministry of Health’s chiefship exam and is now deputy chief in the General Surgery Clinic at Kocaeli-Derince Hospital. She trained in peritoneal surgery and intraperitoneal chemotherapy under Yutaka Yonemura.
