After graduating from the Vitebsk Medical Institute, I. Kazansky moved to Israel where he attended graduate school at Tel Aviv University. Later, Kazansky received long-term specialization in surgical orthopedics and traumatology at Wolfson Hospital, and also undertook multiple narrow-profile specializations at orthopedic clinics in Germany, France, and Canada.
