Prof. Dr. Levent KABASAKAL graduated from Ankara Uni. Faculty of Medicine, specializing in Nuclear Medicine at Istanbul Uni. Çapa Faculty of Medicine in ’93. He became a Nuclear Medicine Specialist and was later appointed as an associate professor in the same department. As an IAEA expert, he provided education and worked in France, Milwaukee, Paris, and the USA. He is a pioneer of Nuclear Medicine Therapy in Turkey and the first to use Lu-177 treatments for advanced thyroid cancers, neuroendocrine tumors, and advanced prostate cancers. He is among the world’s top doctors for these treatments.
