After graduating from Inonu University Medical Faculty in 1997, he completed his residency in Dermatology and Venereal Diseases in 1998 with his lifelong mentors at the same department. He started his academic career as a founding faculty member of the Dermatology and Venereal Diseases Department at the newly established Afyon Kocatepe University. After almost a decade of service as an Assistant Professor and Associate Professor, he joined Izmir Katip Celebi University in 2012 and became a professor in 2013. He currently serves in the field of clinical and aesthetic dermatology at ESTE CLN, his own clinic.
