In my perspective, Reconstructive Surgery and Aesthetic Surgery are interconnected aspects of Plastic Surgery. While Reconstructive Plastic Surgery addresses deformities from congenital malformations, traumas, or neoplasms, Aesthetic Plastic Surgery focuses on enhancing appearance due to congenital, pregnancy, weight loss, or age-related issues. Despite their unique goals, both branches share common surgical techniques and principles of wound healing, grafting, and flap preparation.
