Established in 1991, AMA Optimex Ophthalmology Clinic is one of Romania’s pioneering private eye care facilities. At a time when alternatives to public healthcare were scarce, Prof. Amarelia Filip and Dr. Mircea Filip dared to break new ground. Their vision was to create a modern institution, introducing the latest medical techniques and equipment to benefit countless patients. Years later, their son, Dr. Andrei Filip, joined the clinic, bringing youthful energy, fresh ideas, and cutting-edge technology.
