Prof. Dr. Aydan Biri is a dedicated gynecologist and obstetrician with a deep commitment to the well-being of women and their babies. Her journey into medicine began with a desire to become an academician and psychiatrist, but it was her experiences in Hakkari Yüksekova during compulsory service that shaped her career path towards gynecology and obstetrics. Witnessing the challenges faced by women in the region, including ignorance about reproductive health and the impact of cultural practices, she decided to specialize in gynecology and obstetrics.
