Dr. Başar Kaya was born in Adana in 1981 and graduated from Gazi University Faculty of Medicine in 2004. He completed his specialty training in Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery at the same university in 2011. Between 2004 and 2011, he served as a research assistant at the Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department of Gazi University Faculty of Medicine. From 2011 to 2013, he worked as a specialist doctor (compulsory service) at Dr. İ. Şevki Atasagun State Hospital Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic. From 2013 to 2017, he served as an Associate Professor at Ufuk University Faculty of Medicine Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery Department.
