About Us
Prof. Dr. Mustafa Benekli graduated from Hacettepe University’s English Medicine Faculty in 1992. He completed his internal medicine specialty at the same university, becoming a specialist in internal medicine in 1997. He went to the US in 1999, where he completed a medical oncology fellowship at Roswell Park Cancer Institute, obtaining his specialization in 2001. He also completed a stem cell and bone marrow transplantation fellowship. After working in the US until 2003, he returned to Turkey and joined Gazi University’s Department of Medical Oncology as a faculty member. He became an associate professor in 2004 and a full professor in 2009. At Gazi University, he has held various administrative positions, including Chief of Hospital and Chairman of the Department of Medical Oncology.
