Dr. Barış Çakır, born in Adana in 1975, started his Plastic Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery training at Kartal Training and Research Hospital in 1999 after studying at Çukurova Faculty of Medicine. Dr. Çakır also became interested in sculpture art to improve his aesthetic surgery results, studying Sculpture at Isparta Süleyman Demirel University Fine Arts Department and continuing his education in Malatya İnönü University Fine Arts Department. He is currently serving in Nişantaşı and is married with two children.
Experience
He performed nearly 500 microsurgery operations during his training and developed a new vessel suturing technique, winning the first prize in the experimental branch at the 2004 National Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery congress.
