Born in 1960 in Kayseri, he graduated from Istanbul University in 1985 and specialized in mental and neurological diseases. He worked as a specialist, chief resident, and expert reporter at different hospitals. He provided outpatient and consultation services at Aksaray Vatan Hospital for 7 years and later worked as a psychiatrist and assistant professor. Since 2013, he has been running his own center.
