In 2010, Axis Private Hospital Croatia was founded by spine neurosurgeon Robert Saftic MD. In September 2012, the hospital expanded its range of services to include minimally invasive orthopedic joint surgery such as hip, knee, ankle, foot, shoulder and more, in collaboration with respected orthopedic and trauma surgeon Mladen Miskulin MD. As a result, the hospital gained international recognition as the Vertebris International Spine and Joint Hospital.Our mission is to provide reliable information on spinal cord and joint diseases and conditions, provide minimally invasive treatment options, provide second opinions and ultimately organize and coordinate potential surgical treatment in Croatia. Our services include doctor-patient communication and correspondence, translation services, documentation digitization and all other services required if you choose to have the surgery performed by us or our orthopedic surgeons.
