Dr. Ektor Panayi, MD PD PhD, stands as a beacon of excellence in the realm of plastic surgery, recognized globally as one of the Best Plastic Surgeons in Greece. His illustrious career began with an MD from the University of Cambridge, followed by a distinguished journey in academia with a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from University College London (UCL), UK. Dr. Panayi honed his surgical skills through General Surgery training at Addenbrooke’s NHS Cambridge University Hospital, UK, and further specialized in Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at Bogenhausen Hospital in Munich under the guidance of Prof. Milomir Ninkovic. Currently holding the esteemed position of Associate Professor of Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the Technical University of Munich (TUM), Germany, Dr. Panayi served as the head of the plastic surgery research department at TUM for five years.
