About Us
Dr. Jeff R. Cortés is originally from the city of Monterrey and studied Surgeon and Midwifery at the School of Medicine of the Autonomous University of Nuevo León (UANL). During the last year of his degree, he was awarded a scholarship to finish his medical studies at the University of Heidelberg in Germany. He carried out his social service in the municipality of Santiago, Nuevo León and after passing the national exam for medical residencies he was accepted to carry out a specialty in Urology at the University Hospital “Dr. José E. González” from the UANL. During the residency, he showed interest in research and healthcare excellence. He completed rotations in Urology Oncology at the Inselspital in Bern, Switzerland and published several scientific articles that allowed him to obtain the resident of the year award for two consecutive terms and to be chief resident.
