About Us

Dr. Serkan Balta was born in Krefeld, Germany in 1981. He completed his primary, secondary and high school education in Denizli, Turkey. After graduating from Denizli Anatolian High School in 1999, he received his medical degree from Akdeniz University Faculty of Medicine in Antalya. After obtaining his medical degree in 2005, he started his residency in Radiology at Kartal Lutfi Kirdar Training and Research Hospital from 2005 to 2007. In 2007, he left his residency in Radiology to start his Plastic, Reconstructive and Aesthetic Surgery residency at Trakya University. He completed his specialization in 2012 with his thesis “Reduction of Cartilage Graft Resorption with Doxycycline Use.” During this time, he received successful training from Prof. Dr. Erol Benlier and Prof. Dr. Hüsamettin Top and worked in the clinic of Bahman Guyuron, a renowned plastic surgeon in facial and nose aesthetics, in Cleveland, USA at Case Western Reserve University.

Experience

In 2013, he became a specialist doctor and later an Assistant Professor Doctor at Trakya University, where he was responsible for student and assistant training. During this time, he performed many important microsurgical and aesthetic operations, which were also featured in the media. He participated in many publications, seminars and congresses both domestically and internationally and was the translation editor of three important books in the field of Plastic Surgery. Since 2016, he has been providing services at his private clinic.
