About Us
Dr. İlker Manavbaşı specializes in aesthetic nose surgeries, breast prostheses, deep layer facelifts, eye rejuvenation, and mega-liposuction. He aims to achieve ideal nose shapes in a single surgery and has developed innovative techniques for this purpose. Dr. Manavbaşı is fluent in English and is a member of various medical associations.
Experience
After completing his specialization in 2001, he worked as the Chief of Hand Surgery Department at Istanbul Private İren Hospital until 2004. Then, he served as a “fellow” and later as a partner at the Plastic and Aesthetic Surgery Clinic of Prof. Dr. Onur Erol, one of Turkey’s distinguished surgeons. İlker Bey, who focused on rhinoplasty (nose surgeries), later worked with Prof. Dr. Bahman Guyuron, one of the world’s leading plastic surgeons in nose surgeries, at Zeeba Clinic in Cleveland, Ohio.
Education & Training
Op. Dr. Y. İlker Manavbaşı, born in Ankara in 1971, graduated from Ankara University Faculty of Medicine in 1994 and earned the right to specialize at Hacettepe University Faculty of Medicine, Department of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, one of Turkey’s most prestigious medical faculties, after ranking in the TUS exam the same year. During his 6-year specialization training at Hacettepe University, he visited Finland’s Kuopio University and then Sweden’s Linköping University as an observer doctor, aiming to become a respected aesthetic surgeon.
