Prof. Dr. Erdem Tezel, a renowned plastic surgeon, was born in 1966 in Ankara. He completed his education at Ankara University Faculty of Medicine. He specialized in plastic and reconstructive surgery at Marmara University Faculty of Medicine. He is an expert in face aesthetics and eye area aesthetics and has published techniques for nose and lip surgery, eyelid and surrounding repair, and breast asymmetry and breast straightening. He continues to teach and share his experience and innovations with colleagues as a speaker at various congresses and meetings. He accepts patients from all over the world at his clinic in Şişli, Istanbul.
Experience
Prof. Dr. Erdem Tezel completed his Clinical Fellowship in Oculoplastic and Orbital Surgery at William Beaumont Hospital in Detroit under world-renowned Oculoplastic Surgeon Frank A. Nesi, Division of Plastic Surgery at the University of Toronto, and International Center for Endoscopic and Minimaly Invasive Aesthetic Surgery in Baltimore under world-renowned endoscopic facial aesthetics surgeon Dr. Oscar M. Ramirez, the creator of full endoscopic facial aesthetics. During his time as a plastic surgery assistant at Marmara University, he also worked as an Assistant Doctor in the Plastic Surgery Department at Tel Aviv University’s Sackler Faculty of Medicine.
